Yuwie + 1 Plan

OK...I see alot of different theories on how to be successful with Yuwie. And I have thus far seen only one individual who is showing proof...

Everyone seems so wrapped up in page views as opposed to sharing ideas and friendship it about makes me sick. Do not get me wrong. I appreciate every page hit, email, comment, and rating notice that I receive. But don't be getting ticked off if I do not immediately respond to your comment within 20 min.

I will not apologize for having a life outside of Yuwie; and do not expect an apology from you. I actually had a friend here beg my forgiveness for not being on here for a couple of days and missed my email. C'mon people!!! You have a job, a family, a life...you are allowed to go live it!

Which brings me back to my original point: How to be successful with Yuwie.

Although page views are important, active referrals are CRITICAL!!! No other way to look at it. If you have no referrals, you will get nowhere financially here with Yuwie.

For example:

A Yuwie newbie decides that he doesn't have to bring anyone on board and just hops around making friends. At the end of the month he has amassed a ton of friends and racked up 100,000 page views.
Very impressive!!! But do the math. If the RSR were $.50 and your personal cut is 10% for your level per 1000...That is $5.00. Very little for the amount of time put in to make and maintain all those friendships.

So we agree that you need to bring referrals in this little endeavor. But not just any referrals. You need to bring aboard people who will be active. So many people here run out and drag all of their friends on the site and make them sign up. But they have no interest in this. They dont work the program. What does that leave you? A bunch of goose eggs on your referral tree. That does you no good. Not only do they not bring anybody on board, but they will not keep their profile updated and people just stop visiting.

Another problem is advertising. Now I have mixed feelings on this. I do not pass up the free marketing opportunities. But that is a cast your net and see what you get strategy. You can get lucky but most of the time you get tire kickers who want something for nothing and leave when they realize that they cant get rich overnight.

So what is the key to marketing Yuwie? The answer is to treat it like any other network marketing business. Treat it like a business! At least the recruiting aspect anyways.

Here is your job. Find other people who will be willing to build an online network of friends. Share them the opportunity with Yuwie. Teach them to do the same and help them. How many people do you need? Not as many as you might think.

This idea stemmed from my thinking about a common college dilemma...Student loans. Lets face it folks unlike 35 years ago when an ambitious student could actually work his way through school, the only way to pay for a college education here in the United States is to either get a bunch of scholarships of go deeply into debt. There is no way for a college student to be able to pay his tuition bill with a summer job. Those days are long gone.

So how can Yuwie solve this dilemma? With the consistent and methodical processes of building a network. I like playing with numbers so I have developed a plan that will work for every type of college degree from an Associates through PhD.

Here is what I am going to call the "Yuwie + 1" plan. I designed this to produce a significant income within the 2 years it takes to earn an associates degree. If you are pursuing higher levels of education, you continue the set program beyond the 2 years and you will have enough income to completely cover your college expenses.

Here is what is required:

Access to a computer with internet. (duh)

Ambition.

10 hours/week minimum to devote to this.

Here is the program.

Month 0 (the month you sign up)

Your job is to explore Yuwie. Make friends. Polish your profile...make it cool! Write some blogs. Basically learn how the site works, ask questions, share ideas. Learn everything you can about Yuwie. Your sponsor should help you with this. It is in his interest to help you be successful. Easy first month.

Month 1 (Your first recruit)

The Yuwie+1 program is simply finding ONE active recruit per month. You don't just want anyone. You want some one who is willing to do what you are doing and has the staying power to ride it through. You are looking for someone to duplicate your effort.

When they sign up Your job is to help them set up their profile and show them the ins and outs of Yuwie. Their success is directly related to your success. Teach them well. Encourage them. Answer their questions. Help them in any way your can.

Be selective in who you actively recruit. If you have to drag someone to the starting line, you will wind up dragging them across the finish line. That kind of defeats the purpose of leveraging the efforts of others, which is what the networking idea is all about.

Month 2 (Coaching and mentoring)

In this month you repeat what you did last month and recruit another individual who wants to graduate college debt free. You do all the good things for him that you did for your first recruit.

In addition to all of that you also want to coach and mentor your first recruit to bring in his first referral. This leverages your organization to double every month.

Month 3 (and beyond)

You should start to see the pattern here. You only need to sponsor one ACTIVE referral every month and teach them to do the same. This means that your referral tree will double every month. You don't have to go out and get everyone that walks within 3 feet of you to sign up. Do not scatter your efforts. Simply focus your efforts. You only need one person per month.

Now, just because you found an active go-getter, that does not mean that you have duplicated yourself. That misconception has discouraged more networkers than anything else in the industry. You need to be 3 levels deep before you have duplicated your efforts. Do you think it is a coincidence that Yuwie only shows you three levels deep on your referral tree? That is the magic level.

For example:

Month 0: You join Yuwie

Month 1: You sign up Tom and show him the ropes

Month 2: Tom signs up Dick

Month 3: Dick sponsors Harry

You teach Tom how to teach Dick how to sponsor Harry.

You have now been duplicated.

Only when you have taught someone how to teach someone else have you truly duplicated your own efforts in building a strong network. If you do not teach your downline, your money tree(that is exactly what it is) will never grow.

Now, although my main focus is to get you to understand the importance of referrals you still need the page hits. How many? Easy...the minimum for the payout is 1000. So all the page hits you need to get is 1000. All the hits your referrals need to get is...1000.

Now how do you get that 1000 hits?...by making friends and having cool stuff to share. If you just build a profile and do nothing with it...nobody will visit. But if your friends see that your are constantly adding new material to your profile they are going to want to check it out. So update your profile often and visit your friends often. This place is about sharing...So share.

Now I am not saying you need to go and visit every friend 50 times every month with no discretion. You do need to manage your time.

Here is how I manage Yuwie. Every one of my will get between 2-4 visits per month minimum. I try to visit every week to see what is new. I don't always get to everyone but I do my best. I do have some profiles in my favorites. Obviously they get a little more attention. But there is something that they are sharing that has obviously held my interest. This list is always changing. Some people become less active and drop from my favorites. Others have a cool blog or something that I would like to return to, and as a result get added to my favorites.

Comments, ratings and email always get a hit from me(though maybe not immediately). That shows me that someone was active and might have something new that I want to see.

So be active and earn your 1000 hits (if you get more...great)and teach your down line the same.

OK so I bet you want to see some numbers...

Assuming a perfect world (I know but follow along anyways), where you and every referral in your money tree finds a new referral every month who earns 1000 hits per month at an RSR of $.50:

At the end of 12 months (one year) your monthly income from Yuwie will be approximately $144. I know that is not much but it does put gas in the car.

But in 6 more months your income will jump to over $2000 a month.

At the end of 24 months total, even allowing for attrition, you will be setting on over $20,000 a month at the graduation of your associates degree.

Do you think you could pay off your college loans rather quickly with that? Do you think that you would be free to pursue any college education that you desire with that income? Can you imagine pursuing a profession because you love it and not because you depend on the paycheck and benefits?

I am a minimalist. You only need 1 referral a month and 1000 page hits to be successful. You could go out gang busters and recruit 20 people every month, but when will you find the time to teach them all? How many will drop out?

In the military, every command position from the lowly fire team leader, up to the Corps commanding general,is directly responsible for only 3-5 people at a time. History has proven the effectiveness of this system. Don't try to fix it. Remember you need to train your direct referrals until you reach 3 levels deep.

Yuwie has a fantastic system to provide us a great opportunity. Don't try to cheat the system. Don't try to beat it. If you work the plan, it will work for you.

(You + 1 referral x 1000 page hits) every month

Now go plant that money tree.

After an extended stay at Yuwie with a downline of about 200 and plenty of page views I gave up. I fail to see how Yuwie is worth it. Even the Major Players there aren't making much anymore. The only people getting rich are the owners.

I second that comment!
Yuwie is a fantastic concept, Let us be honest here, despite finding some value, Yuwie is not really about friendships, rather it is about money, plain and simple, and I am not talking about money in YOUR pocket. Yuwie is a fraud cloaked in the guise of social networking just waiting for the next dupe.
